Another 5-Star Review for Richard F. Wright's, "The World's Seven Biggest Liars"

Richard F. Wright's assessment of religious prophets draws positive review from non-atheist concerned with all religions.

Eight years after its original release, The World's Seven Biggest Liars continues to draw positive reviews. What is interesting about this review is that unlike the target audience: 'atheists,' this reviewer states he is not an atheist but appreciates the assessment about religions. Atheist, or not, the book begs the question whether the misrepresentations by prophets should be called out.

Another 5-Star Review for The John Fresolo Saga by Richard F Wright

The true story of a political conspiracy is now told as a result of two years of investigation by political consultant Richard F. Wright.

-- 5-Star Review on Amazon - Another reader has given a 5-Star review of The John Fresolo Saga by Richard F. Wright on March 26, 2020.

The reviewer wrote, "The book describes what really happens in government." Read the Full Review.

Wright's book identifies the false accusations, the corrupted evidence, the distorted and fabricated testimony, and the oppressive pressure applied by elected officials and highly paid outside consultants to force John Fresolo to give up his freely won position as a State Representative for the 16th Worcester district.

-- Lying Under Oath - Witnesses admitted under oath that they had lied. Evidence was shown to be corrupted and unreliable. Allegations that spread to newspaper headlines, even though the ethics committee was supposed to operate secretly, were shown to be false, misleading, and prejudicial. Yet, Fresolo could not defend himself publicly without being in violation of House rules.

-- Denied Cross-Examination - Fresolo was allowed to have counsel, but counsel could not cross-examine witnesses or challenge evidence. Fresolo could not speak unless recognized by the committee chairman, who continuously hushed Fresolo when he protested false testimony. The characterization of a "kangaroo court" was clear to anyone who had access to the procedure.

-- Speaker's Spokesman Lied to Media - Officials of the Speaker's office lied to the media that John Fresolo had not been pressured to resign. The book clearly shows that the chairman of the ethics committee pressured Fresolo, the attorney for the ethics committee threatened and pressured Fresolo, and the draconian resolution brought against Fresolo was strictly a pressure tactic. Fresolo succumbed to the pressure.

-- Accused was Blackmailed into Resigning - Just as the committee was about to settle on a resolution that the accused would accept, the committee abruptly added "evidence" not previously shared with the defense, not entered during the hearings, not in a manner that allowed the defense to respond, and concerned with none of the original 13 allegations that sparked the investigation. The accused was blackmailed into resigning to avoid the public disclosure of material unrelated to the allegations of ethical breaches.

Author of The John Fresolo Saga to be Guest on Talk of the Commonwealth Show on Thursday

-- Richard F. Wright to be on Radio 830 AM on Thursday, November 21 at 7:05 AM Segment with Host Hank Stolz

Hank Stolz, host of WCRN (830 AM) Talk of the Commonwealth radio show announced that Author Richard Wright will be a guest this Thursday, November 21, on the 7:05 AM segment of the show.
Richard F. Wright Addresses the Book Signing Audience
Wright's new book, The John Fresolo Saga, has created a lot of local interest. At a book signing last week in Worcester, Wright addressed an audience who came to hear why he wrote the book and particularly the challenges he faced in getting the story.

In an earlier interview on his other show, The Hank Stolz Experience, which aired on TV 3 Channel in Worcester, Wright was asked if there was any "blow-back" on his claims that Fresolo was the victim of a kangaroo court process that denied him the right to cross-examine witnesses against him. Wright explained that all the state has to do is release the secret reports to find the truth.

On the show, Wright said, "They won't release the secret findings because they are exactly what is in the book." Following its Executive Conference process, the "court" of 11 committee members could ask questions, but John and his attorney could not. The "court" allowed John to submit written questions that the Chairman asked of only one witness, but did not offer any follow-up questions, did not allow Fresolo to challenge a false answer, and totally denied Fresolo's attorney from any participation.

Wright told Stolz on the TV interview that he found the process used against Fresolo as "unfair and in my mind, unAmerican."

Paperback and eBook Now on Amazon.com

Newest Book by Richard F Wright

Jefferson, MA - As of today, my newest book, Worcester's Winter Hill Farm, is now available as an eBook and a Paperback on Amazon.com. Links on the right side of this blog take you to where you can place an order.

The book is a recollection of my growing up on an urban farm in Worcester, Mass., between the ages of eight and 13 years old. Although we were in the city, we were actually living a very rural existence including boarding horses, raising sheep and chickens, and growing food and fields of hay to feed the livestock.

My brother Steve and I spent our formative years on the farm and its effects on us were direct in some cases and indirect in others. My view today is that in the years that followed the "farm" years, we did not have as idyllic a childhood as we might have wished. But the farm years were exciting, wondrous and worth remembering.
